I had a delivery of felt on Friday to replace dwindling stocks. It also included 11 fabulous new colours (one was out of stock - boo!) Anyway, they are mid blue, beige, bear red-brown, ox brown, orange-red, chick yellow, mustard, marl dark beige, marl dark grey, marl light grey and marl light beige. Aren't they all scrummy!? Available on the Website and on Etsy now.
Thursday saw the launch of Merits Kickstarter Campaign. They have 30 days to gather enough pre-orders to gain the backing from the Kickstarter organisation (a funding platform). It's very exciting to see the badges I have made in this fantastic business venture. Go take a look at their facebook page too.
Apologies for the absence this week, it's been rather busy with parents evenings and education inspections, slotted in amongst all the normal everyday family happenings. I have managed to revamp the skull cards (which I absolutely love), make more flowers, owls and rockets, and make new colourful bird cards. I've also introduced these Thank You flower cards.
While at the local farmers market last month I got chatting with the lovely ladies on the spinning guild stall about stuffing wool, so this month they've fetched me some :)
...hopefully this means that Spring is just round the corner. It feels lovely sat there with the birds singing and the sun coming through the windows (and everyone else in bed so it's mighty quiet ;) ).
I finally managed to get the ladybird cards finished...they look fantastic with the farmyard cards.
I've also had a special request for a cat that could sit on a desk while the customer worked...so here they are. They stand 6 inches high and can be made in any colour felt that I stock :)
I'm trying to make a pile of card toppers while waiting for supplies for another custom order. These will be for Birthday and Thank you cards.
